Located in Shoreline, Washington, the Garden was founded in 1958 by Dr. Arthur Kruckeberg and his wife Mareen, who amassed the plant collection over 50 years in the property surrounding their home. The Garden is now owned by the City of Shoreline and operated by the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation (KBGF), a nonprofit organization.
